Using WIPO’s ePCT system for filing PCT intermediate documents as part of an International Application with the KIPO as an ISA

 

Starting on August 13th 2018, the Korean Intellectual Property Office(KIPO), in its capacity as an International Searching Authority(ISA), will begin to accept PCT intermediate documents (request for rectification of obvious mistakes, additional fee payments, etc.) through the World Intellectual Property Organization's(WIPO) ePCT system. As a result, these intermediate documents that were submitted, in the past, via fax or post mail can now be easily submitted electronically to ISA/KR via WIPO’s ePCT system. We hope you fully utilize this new service. 

 

*Sending documents via fax or post mail is still available using the following information:

How to upload documents for filing with ISA/KR using ePCT system.

 

 

① Log into ePCT system, under the section ‘Documents’ click ‘Upload’, and then select “ISA” as recipient.

 

 ② Choose the Document type (i.e. the name of the document you would like to upload), then attach and upload the necessary documents.

 

③ Sign and Upload
